I think the category is right, there wasn't anything for canons or ironic... so here goes... this 'modern marvel' sits outside the presidential palace in New Delhi and defends the flower beds around it.
I wanted to put a bunch of daisies in the canon and then shoot the pic, but they wouldn't let me get too near it... maybe its still armed

I LOVE the colors and the textures in this one. This is one of your best. The gleam of the cannon, and the spiky foliage.... it makes for a nice playground for the eye. And there's movement too-- the spiky grass stuff seems to reach for the cannon, which in turn points your eye in another direction. Very good!
